Eighteenth-century estate at Irish Town, some 3,000 feet up in Jamaica's Blue Mountains above Kingston, bought in 1972 by Island Records founder Chris Blackwell — Bob Marley recuperated there after his 1976 shooting — and opened in 1994 as the first Caribbean hotel of Blackwell's Island Outpost group, rebuilt in traditional Jamaican Georgian style with hand-carved fretwork. MSL Season 5 segments toured its gardens and fretwork.
