Manhattan firm built by Lithuanian-born cabinetmaker Israel Sack (1883–1959), who opened his first shop on Boston's Charles Street and became the preeminent dealer in early American antique furniture, supplying collectors such as Henry Ford and Henry Francis du Pont and virtually every major American museum; his sons ran the firm until it closed in 2002.
