Cutchogue Fire Department Chicken Barbecue

Annual chicken barbecue held since the 1950s by the Cutchogue Fire Department and its Ladies Auxiliary in Cutchogue on Long Island's North Fork, cooking thousands of chickens over open pits with a famously secret basting sauce. Martha attended for a 1998 MSL episode, tried (unsuccessfully) to get the sauce recipe, and later hired the department to cater her company clambake.
