Bendheim, the family-run specialty architectural glass house founded in Greenwich Village in 1927 by Sem and Margaret Bendheim, is best known for Restoration Glass — mouth-blown window glass made with Germany's Lamberts glassworks whose gentle waviness suits historic buildings, and which has been installed at the White House, Monticello, and Mount Vernon. Toured in an MSL field-trip segment.
