British chef (1939-2010) who co-founded The River Café in Hammersmith, London with Ruth Rogers in 1987, championing seasonal Italian farmhouse cooking; co-author of the River Café cookbooks and co-presenter of the 1998 Channel 4 series 'The Italian Kitchen'. She presented River Café dishes with Rogers on MSL in July 1998.
