Ian Ingersoll is a master cabinetmaker whose workshop in West Cornwall, Connecticut — founded in the late 1970s — became nationally known for faithful Shaker chair reproductions after the 1986 Whitney Museum Shaker exhibition. His interlocking-tenon slat-back and rocker designs adapt classic Mount Lebanon Shaker patterns for modern use.
